I was born in Leicester a long time ago and grew up in five
different towns and villages in the north of England.
I studied German at Newcastle University and lived in Germany for a while.
Now I am growing old in a former farmhouse near Carlisle.
In our old farmyard we have several barns where my husband makes sculptures.
We have no pets at the moment, but every website needs cats, so here are three we used to have.
